About Arkamani

Arkamani is a Sudanese journal of archaeology and anthropology whose founding editor was Dr Osama Abdel-Rahman Elnur. This archive provides access to its available research, historical texts, books, reviews and documents, retaining their authorship, original dates and publication details.

Names, dates and publication details are retained in their original historical context.

Both editions provide access to the same publication, reusing published translations where available and adding machine-assisted translations for other texts. Original author and translator credits refer to the original edition; consult it for scholarly quotation.
